I woke up, and coaxed Pingakvo back into his Pokéball, he slept in the bed with me last night. Then I loaded his Pokéball into my rucksack, along with HP potion I had received from the day before, and then I headed downstairs. My mom was already awake and she had made a farewell breakfast for me. She had placed a gift-wrapped package on the table as well. When I opened it, there was an electronic journal inside. She wanted me to keep track of my adventures, and with this I could do it from anywhere in the world. She said to make sure to write in it everyday, so that she could read them from home and make sure I was still doing well.
After breakfast, Mych’l’s mom came over, and she was very upset. Apparently, Mych’l had already headed off to Jubilife City, that’s to the north of Sandgem Town. He had left before she could say goodbye, and she had a going away present for him, just as my mom had given to me. I wasn’t sure what was inside the parcel, but she made me promise to give it to him when I saw him. I promised I would give him the parcel, but could I really keep that promise now that Mych’l and I were rivals?
I double-checked to make sure I had everything stored in my rucksack. Now, my adventure as the world's newest Pokémon trainer can begin.
